Elimination of the throttle cable improves system durability, reduces exhaust emissions, and minimizes mechanical wear. The 4-speed AT includes hold control mode with adaptive shift control logic, which helps reduce wheel spin and loss of traction when traveling on slippery roads by allowing you to select a higher gear to reduce torque. In a lower gear, it can also be used to help maximize control on hilly or twisting roads.
The Aveo rides on an independent front suspension, with McPherson struts, coil springs, and a stabilizer bar, and a semi-independent rear suspension with torsion beam. This suspension system empowers the Aveo to cruise lightly and effortlessly on all kinds of roads, thereby providing a comfortable ride to the passengers.
